At Liva we want to make sure that all our users have a world class experience using our product.
This means that our users should have a great experience on-boarding and using our platform, and our health coaches should have a web application that is easy to use and navigate for them to support our users.
As our Wordpress/PHP Developer, you will be responsible for developing a modern and user-friendly website where our existing and future users can learn about Liva. At the same time this is a channel that are important for us in order to ensure that we stay on track with our member uptake.
Primary responsibilities
• As a Wordpress/PHP Developer at Liva, your primary responsibilities will include:
• Contribute to all stages in the product life cycle of our websites: design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Contribute to plans, estimations and status updates.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Design, develop and support WordPress development to meet business needs.
• Writing efficient and readable code.
• Work with other developers to design integrations between systems.
• Support special projects as required.


To succeed in the role as Wordpress/PHP developer we expect that you:

• Are a skilled Wordpress and PHP developer - probably with +3 years of experience
• Thrive in an environment where things change, and you need to take initiative to find the best solution to the problems
• Like working in iterations to improve continuously
• Have the interest to work together with others to find the best solution for a requirement
• Are ambitious and strive for excellence in all you do
• Are a team player and willing to go the extra mile for your colleagues
• Excellent knowledge of WordPress, PHP, MySQL, CSS, HTML and jQuery.
• Knowledge in WP theme and plugin development using WordPress standards.
• Knowledge of existing inbuilt WordPress functions
• Understanding of RESTful Web Services technologies such as JSON, SOAP, and HTTP
• Good Debugging & Analytical Skill


BS/BA degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline OR relevant years of experience in required skills
