About the Intern Position:
As an Intern Software Engineer in one of our dynamic product development teams, you will collaborate closely with a group of talented developers to contribute to features and technologies that enhance the value our users gain from TimeLog. Embracing an agile and autonomous work environment, you'll have the opportunity to engage in the entire product development lifecycle - from discovery and estimation to development, testing, and delivery. Our R&D team, comprising about 30 passionate individuals, thrives on innovation, and you'll be diving into a codebase that's evolved over 20 years, pushing boundaries and exploring new possibilities within our cutting-edge tech stack, including microservices architecture, the latest .NET versions, service bus, and Kubernetes.
Our philosophy of "If you built it, you own it" means you'll also gain hands-on experience in bug resolution, supported by a culture of automated testing and a TDD mindset. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers who are not just passionate about technology but also understand the business value behind each development task.
Your Role Will Involve (6-Months) :
Participating in product discovery sessions alongside the Product Manager.
Contributing to the enhancement and extension of TimeLog's features.
Learning to decode business requirements into actionable tasks.
Supporting the development of backend features across our tech stack.
Engaging with your team to foster collective performance and growth.
Qualifications
Must-have
Who We're Looking For:
A budding enthusiast in C# and eager to learn more.
Basic knowledge of SQL is sufficient.
An interest in understanding the architecture of business applications.
Some familiarity or a keen interest in frontend technologies like HTML and JavaScript.
Good to have
Bonus Points If:
You have dabbled in coding with AI tools or have an interest in AI.
You've experimented with ASP.NET MVC or similar frameworks.
You've played around with APIs or have a keen interest in learning about them.
