In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining web applications for SEB's Life Division business unit. Working collaboratively, you'll contribute to new application development and enhance existing ones to align with evolving business and customer requirements. Our applications are built using .NET technologies, and your technical expertise will be vital in shaping their success.

We are expanding the team in Kuala Lumpur. This role will be designing, developing, implementing and maintaining web applications for SEB’s Life Division business unit. You will be part of a team that is responsible for new application development and improving existing applications to meet the changing needs of our business and customers. The application is developed using .NET technologies.
You must be able to display knowledge of technical design alternatives and their implications by contributing to the development team in application technical design activities. You must have excellent written and spoken English and have good communication skills.
You will be working in a Scrum/Agile, SAFE development environment and are therefore expected to contribute beyond a traditional developer’s role by providing creative solutions to the business problem being solved.
Must have:
• Relevant experience working with C# throughout design, development, and release phases of software development
• Good experience in Web API and REST
• Good knowledge in data persistence (one of ORM, EF, SQL, NoSQL)
Good to have:
• A recent version of .NET Core
• Design patterns (e.g., Gang of Four, SOLID, DDD, Clean Architecture)
• Worked in an agile SCRUM development environment
• Knowledge of analysis and requirements gathering
• Container (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) technology
• CI/CD (e.g., TFS, Azure DevOps, GitLab, GitHub actions)
• Centralized Logging (e.g., Splunk)
• Experience working in microservices environment
• Experience in Kafka
Open to learn / work:
• Must be willing to learn HTML, JS, React or Angular if does not have that experience
• Must be willing to work with unit tests
