You will be part of a team that is responsible for the modernization project which will involve development and improvement of front-end and back-end teller systems, and internal SEB applications for Life Insurance business unit in Europe. We are highly integrated with the bank’s core systems, and we have production rollout
plans for 3 Baltics Countries.
This role will be designing, modernizing, implementing, and maintaining applications for the frontend and
backend using Java and Modern JS technologies. We are seeking developers who are not afraid to put
themselves into complex environments where they need to work with multiple technologies. Along with
strong coding skills, you should also have a desire to engage with business, and continuously develop yourself
and your skills through your curiosity. You will be working in a cross functional, agile team, with colleagues
located in Europe and Kuala Lumpur.
Must Have:
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with any enterprise Java framework (e.g., Spring)
throughout the design, development, and release phases of software development.
• Proven work experience in JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Proven work experience with Java 8 or higher
• Experience with Web Services REST
• Must be willing to work on both backend and frontend development (using React Frontend)
Nice to have:
• Prior experience with IntelliJ, Jenkins, Postgres, Tomcat, Kubernetes.
• Familiar with Maven, any Version Control System (Git) and JUnit.
• Experience working in an agile team, preferably Scrum methodology.
• Basic Knowledge in Relational database skills.
• Experience in JavaScript Framework such as React/Vue/Angular.
