Responsibilities

INSCALE is setting up a new Business Intelligence department to focus on data analytics which will provide insights to help making data-driven business decisions. The team will involve in establishing standardized talent research process, developing dashboards, organizing data as well as being proactive in suggesting possible avenues for value creation through data.
• Conduct talent availability and salary research to provide insights to Sales, HR or potential clients on the talent data in our locations
• Identify relevant data to be collected useful for improving and optimizing business operations, including but not limited to Recruitment, HR and Sales
• Serve as a point-of-contact to analyze HR and recruitment data to provide insights using dashboards such as Power BI or Excel
• Ensure the continued quality & integrity of data and process by performing regular audits
• Analyse internal data and compare with external benchmarks
• Perform data cleansing activities to ensure all relevant data is available and accurate to provide insights to the relevant department
• Collaborate with other departments to gather requirements and develop reports/dashboard to support the needs of the business.
• Utilising data analytics to find patterns or potential areas for improvement in business practices to enable data-driven optimization of operation processes
• Collaborate with Digital Services & Project Management department to expand and enhance the ERP with respect to the analytics requirements

Qualifications

Qualifications:
• 1 - 3 years of relevant working experience in data analysis, business analysis or business intelligence
• Familiar with data analytics or business intelligence tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau or SQL
• Analytical - able to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Experience in cleansing data and organizing data into reports / dashboard
Good-to-have skills:
• Knowledge in databases such as PostgreSQL / MySQL
• Knowledge in programming such as Python / R / XML / ETL frameworks
Soft skills:
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Solution driven and resourceful
• A self-starter with minimal supervision required
• Interested in business process optimization
• Organized and structured, attentive to details
• Ability to work well in a team

Education

Bachelor in Mathematics / Computer Science / Information Management / Statistics / Management or a relevant field
